David, Yes, I consider most of the linked resources to be excellent.  Of course, I dont agree with every statement on those pages, but the information provided can be very helpful for parents making decisions about vaccinations and finding alternatives.  There are also some good books available from Amazon.Com. Well, if you have nothing negative to say about the stuff, it tells me what I wanted to know about your standards of quality in scientific discourse.  Thank you.   — David Wright :: wright at ibnets.com :: Not a Spokesman for Anyone      These are my opinions only, but they’re almost always correct.      "Let me through!  I got here late!"  – Homer Simpson

I live in a metro area of one-million.  We had 11 reported cases of pertussis las year.  No deaths. I you have ever seen a child with pertussis, I guarantee you’d make sure your kids were first in line for the immunization tomorrow. — Edward J. Prejudicial and insensitive.  The above accusation shows a complete disregard for the plight of the chronically paranoid.  To brand these people as liars is bigotry of the worst, and most damaging kind.  To state that it was a man without posting clear proof of it is blatant gender bias.  There is far too much of this sort of thing from skeptics here. hd

Actually, "scientific research" shows quite to the contrary.  It shows that the advantages of vaccination far outweigh the disadvantages.

Steve, I know that some people use treatment from an experienced Homeopath as an alternative.  I suggest you check out some of the resources link to here:   http://www.holisticmed.com/www/vaccine.html Best Wishes,                              - Mark                      Holistic Healing Web Page                     http://www.HolisticMed.com/

Response:

Does anybody know if there are ways of keeping a child’s
immune system strong and healthy and able to fight off
disease without having that child vaccinated with all the
different vaccines medicine throws at these children?
In particular, I’m wondering about the hib vaccine.  I know
the disease is serious, but it seems as though there must be
other ways to enhance a child’s chances of fighting off this
disease (Haemophilus Influenzae B) without injecting them
with a vaccine.
Specifically, can chiropractic or reflexology or accupressure
or some other alternative approach to health be of benefit?
Not everyone is okay these days with vaccinations, especially
when scientific research is showing that children
may have very negative reactions to vaccines.  There must be
a proactive approach people who refuse vaccines use to help
protect their children.  I’m looking for any helpful input or
testimonials.  Thanks.    -**** Posted from RemarQ, http://www.remarq.com/?a ****-  Search and Read Usenet Discussions in your Browser – FREE –
