CHIRO DEGREE VS. MD DEGREE

Categories: Chiropractic Health

Question:

I think that it is time to stop all the bickering about both of these two vastly different and necessary modalities! Chiro’s dislike MD’s, MD’s dislike Chiro’s, people swear by, and at both of them. Why not be realistic and face some very important facts. 1) There are good Chiro’s and MD’s and there are BAD Chiro’s and MD’s! 2) Neither of them are god, and neither of them can CURE anything. I use the word CURE here lightly, very lightly. It is the understanding in both fields.. in all health care for that fact, that if one’s symptoms or complaints disappear or lesson, then treatment was successful. Wouldn’t you agree? 3) The school of thought between these two professions is so different, yet at the same time their INTENT is many times the same… to help and heal the sick or injured. 4) Many times the patient suffer’s because the INTENT is money driven! I have seen this far too many times in the last twenty years. Refer to this one , refer to that one. Spread the wealth of insurance money to others (usually friends). Did you know that your beneifits are all used up? Do you have a lawyer? I know of a good one, he’s their card!! 5) I realize that #4 has nothing to do with the first three statements, but it proves a point…. it’s a mean, nasty vicious f—– cycle. 6) What works for one may not work for the next, and this is a proven fact! Conclusion: Grown educated men and woman, with whom we are suppose to trust with our health, bickering like childern about who’s right and who’s wrong. Keep this in mind, there are alot of Chiro’s and MD’s who got their licsense from a box of Froot Loops and should NOT be allowed to practice ANYTHING!!

I don’t know what you are trying to imply here,(I may just be reading in to this too deeply), but I don’t know of any state that would license an MD or DC that did not attend an accredited medical or chiropractic school and pass all state and national board exams. Brad Olson Chiropractic Intern

Brad: You are still in school, good luck and do well. I know of a Chiro right now who is "adjusting" and all else that goes along with his profession. I work with many of his patient’s, I am a PT. In his case, some but not all of his patient’s seem in my opinon, are getting worse. I am Chiro trained (my brother is 24 yr practioner). Here is the problem that I have with this Chiro. Yes, he passed all the classes while attending Palmer college. He failed his final state exam by 3 points. He and his attorney appealed… presto, they found the needed three points!  I am sure that this is not a isolated case, and that this happens with MD’s also. My point was and still is that he nor anyone else for that fact, should not be allowed to pratice that recieve licsenure under these condictions. Kerry
