DDD, gas in vertebrae?
Question:
Hello everyone! Boy I’m chatty today, huh? This is like my fourth post (if you can all see the first three, that is
Rats, I lost the link, I’ll try to find it, but I’ve seen some x-rays on the Net that have images of "gas" in between the vertebrae in DDD. Does anyone know anything about this? Is this a cause of pain? I do sometimes feel like I have "gas pains" in the wrong place, but I’d like to know if anyone has heard of this. — "There are some people that if they don’t know, you can’t tell ‘em." — Louis Armstrong http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Nook/9300
Response:
Yes I have heard of this. I once had my chiropractor explain to me about the gas in your joints. The release of gas is what you hear when you hear or feel a "pop" I don’t remember the whole explaination as it was many years ago, but yes it is gas

Hmm, should we be excusing ourselves when our joints pop? ;-) Sarah L "Friends are those people who know the words to the song in your heart and sing them back to you when you have forgotten the words." (unattributed)
