This person (John R) should not be relied upon for reliable information about chiropractic. He has a personal vendata against his profession, (probably a frustrated, would-be M.D. who’s lack of self-esteem is pathetic.)     I am not going to defend networking chiropractic because I don’t know anything about it. I do know that what flies in Calif. is often quite remarkably different from what will fly in other states, such as New Jersey.     I suggest, for more reliable information, that you contact your state’s State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, and ask them about this technique and about the doctor you are seeing.     Dr. Duane Weed, DC  <*>  E-Mail request for my FREE Herb

  >I am seeing a networking chiropractic in the Bay Area and would   >like to know of articles and personal experiences from others It is more common than not that a chiropractor will apply, to *all* patients, regardless of entering complaint, *one* particular brand name Chiropractic Technique. In fact, in my ‘How to choose a chiropractor,’ I advised avoiding one, who through laziness and stupidity, relied on ANY one of the great number of these delusional algorithms, many of which can be ‘picked-up’ in a week-end seminar. NETWORK Chiropractic is only one such manifestation of this Chiropractic Technique Babylon. Using only ‘light touch and taps’ according to NETWORK protocols, a practitioner treats from 5-15 "practice members" ["patients"] simultaneously with the idea of relieving tension and/or interference in the spinal *CORD* by affecting the meninges. These latter tissues are believed to hold "imprints" of present and past physical, chemical, and emotional stresses from which participants can presumably be freed along with "their distorted sense of self." While every single Chiropractic Technique references its own special pseudomedical fantasy, NETWORK chiropractic has the singular distinction of being so inane that the New Jersey Board of Chiropractic Examiners issued a statement in 1992 which determined that "NETWORK Chiropractic shall not be utilized by a chiropractic licensee within his or her practice of chiropractic" and further that "no chiropractic licensee shall bill either a patient or any third party insurer, for the application of N.C. or for any service which may be identified or identifiable as NETWORK Chiropractic." Is there anyone who can appreciate how stunning this is that even ONE of the panoply of delusional Chirodigms could (and would) be singled out as being even too quackish for a group of _chiropractors_? So, what was your entering complaint at this NETWORK office and what are you being treated for at this point? Is it fun? Music? -"Hit-em high…hit-em low…hit all 24 and collect the dough"-BJ.
