Twisted pelvis – treatment

Question:

I have a protruding disc in my lower back between L5 and S1 and can hardly walk. My pysio says the problem has been caused by my twisted pelvis. She says physiotherapy is the only treatment that will help in the long term. However, I can hardly stand the pain and the fact that I am not able to walk properly stresses me out. Does anybody has any experience with a twisted pelvis – what treatment is recommendable – what about chiropractic or osteopathic treatment. Many many thanks

Response:

I usually do slow, plastic chiropractic blocking of the pelvis in addition to physical therapy exercises on my patients.  Usually depends upon the severity. Never hurts to get a 2nd opinion Jay H – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text – > I have a protruding disc in my lower back between L5 and S1 and can > hardly walk. > My pysio says the problem has been caused by my twisted pelvis.
