Tech21 Trademark 60 any opinions?

Categories: Chiropractor

Question:

Hi there, I love Tech21 stuff. Any reason why I should not get this amp? I feel the need to play at bedroom levels and my LC50 is just too big for home practise. Also, seems great for direct-out home recording without messing with mics, etc. Any tips, gotchas, pitfalls, etc? Thanks in advance, D.R.

No idea where my original post went, so reposting. D.R.

FWIW, I used a trade mark 60 for a trade show. I liked it. Just clean with a L4 into a Boomerang  phrase looper. Sounded fine, a good clean channel. Sounded like music. No problem. AW

i’ve had mine for about 7 or 8 years now and totally dig it. love the clean channel. not so crazy about the distortion channel but the clean channel sounds good w/ a distortion pedal so it really isn’t an issue. good for home practice/recording and lightweight enough to make bringing it somewhere not involve a trip to the chiropractor. =-) PJ

I used to own a sansamp GT-2. My favorite pedal ever. Does the amp sound like this pedal. I would either buy a small amp and use this or the tri-ac, or buy an all-in-one. I use a distortion pedal on my tube amp, but keen to plug stright in.
