Hrm…you know, I could write the same sort of paper about Microsoft (TM).  Business is about making money….and like any other business McDonalds is out to make money too.   Can we live without McDonalds?  without Microsoft?  of course we can. While I do try to avoid using Microsoft products, I do go to McDonalds once in a while. Everyone is out to make money.  If you’re a hebalife distributor, you are out to make money.  If you’re a chiropractor, dentist or doctor, you’re out to make money.  I go to work every day to help a company make money.  Do they make more money out of me than they pay me?  Probably. Would I be spending 40+ hours/week volunteering?  Doubtful unless I had already made the kind of fortune Bill Gates has.

        If you want to be a vegetarian, then be a vegetarian.  If you want to eat meat, then eat meat!  If you want to drive a car to work instead of ride a bike, then do it.  Everyone makes their own choices.  IF you try to change the mind of someone who is set in their ways, then they’ll do their current behavior with twice as much zeal!  For example, I am not fond of the idea that my puppy is eating chicken beaks, diseased animal and vegetable products, and other euthanized pets (collars and all) in his processed food.  Therefore, he is being switched over to a different diet that involves fresh food (meats, grains, etc) that will give him everything he needs without the sugar and other garbage.  If I tried to convince people who weren’t receptive of this of doing the same, thy’d proabably go buy stock in the pet food manufacturers.  All the ranting and raving in the world about how meat is sin is not going to get people to become vegetarians.  Instead, it will make them hate you and other vegetarians, and make them even less receptive to the idea.  Face it, human beings are omnivores.  Meat-eaters could make some pretty good arguments on why to avoid vegetables (at least regular supermarket ones) if you consider what kind of crap is sprayed on them!  Works both ways!  Steve – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> mmmmmm…. >Big Mac >fillet of fish >quarter pounder >French fries >icy coke >thick shakes >sundaes >and apple pies… >Think I will take an early lunch for a nice big cow burger made by a $7/hour >McD employee who is helping lead the way to WORLD DOMINATION and destruction >of everything.  And besides… >I’m Hungry >JetsilverX wrote in article >>BOYCOTT THESE BASTARDS! >>– >No way!
